Meet Dr. Liu
Originally from Beijing, I graduated from Peking University and practiced as an ophthalmologist in China before relocating to the United States.
The emphasis of my research and clinical expertise has been on the investigation and utilization of novel optical designs and pharmaceuticals in myopia control, and I enjoy a global reputation in the field.
I obtained 4 graduate degrees in addition to my medical training in China: MBA in financial management; accelerated OD at Pacific University, College of Optometry; MPH (emphasis in biostatistics and clinical study design) and a PhD in physiological optics at UC Berkeley.
I enjoy teaching both in didactic and clinical settings. I have years of experience in teaching basic and clinical pharmacology, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and evidence-based optometry.
When not at work, I love cooking spicy food, swimming, doing HIIT, and spending time with her family, including her two Corgis QQ and Pi.
Meet Dr. Jung
Originally from Beijing, I graduated from Peking University and practiced as an ophthalmologist in China before relocating to the United States.
During my residency, I gained extensive experience in managing complex ocular diseases and challenging pediatric myopia cases. In addition to my roles in clinical teaching and patient care, I am deeply involved in clinical myopia research, focusing on the safety and efficacy of innovative myopia interventions.
I work with residents and student clinicians in specialty contact lens and myopia control clinics.
When not at work, I love cooking spicy food, swimming, doing HIIT, and spending time with her family, including her two Corgis QQ and Pi.
